UK International Events Communications Officer

If you’re looking to break into charity, student fundraising, international challenges, recruitment or marketing, then this entry-level role is perfect for you. Your role will be office based, engaging with all the interested students that have heard about the project through their University. You will be managing the email and phone communication with each interested participant. Helping to answer questions about the project as well as proactively scheduling emails to support their decision to come to Uganda.

We are looking for an organised individual with exceptional communication and persuasive skills, excel skills and great attention to detail. This role will help you learn how to manage communication for a large campaign whilst also being well supported by the team and the pre-existing systems in place. By the end of the placement, the successful candidate will have worked alongside our team and gained diverse experience in multiple areas of running a successful campaign in the third sector. 

Duration:   2nd September – 6th December 2019

Hours:   9am – 5pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:30am – 12pm/4pm – 8pm Tuesday & Thursday

Location:  Enderby, Leicestershire
