Manchester University students are super lucky as we are able to provide both of our projects at Manchester University.

Manchester RAG - Uganda Gorilla Trek

RAG society partners with East African Playgrounds to promote the Gorilla Trek for Manchester University students to be part of. The Gorilla Trek is the ultimate African adventure allowing you to explore, discover and develop the incredible country of Uganda. As an ethical, affordable trip, it’s what you need to have the summer of a lifetime.

Manchester RAG run the Gorilla Trek, whereas the volunteering department run the volunteer project. Our only joint-project university, we're super chuffed at the level of support we're able to offer our participants. All of this support enabled our volunteers to raise and amazing £13,677.94 going towards the work we do in Uganda.

Ollie Goldsmith is RAG President this year (2017/18) and is excited to be promoting the Gorilla Trek to all the wonderful students.

International Volunteering - Uganda Volunteer Project

Northampton University partners with East African Playgrounds on their Uganda Volunteer Project. It’s all about experiencing a new culture whilst giving children their childhoods through play. Weekdays volunteering at a school building a playground and weekends exploring the amazing activities on offer in Uganda. What's not to love!

At Manchester University, we also work with the International Volunteering department on the Uganda Volunteer Project.
