Weronika Letowska For a month this July I will be joining East African Playgrounds in Uganda to build a playground and provide children with the opportunity to learn and play in a safe environment. I believe that every child has the right to play and hope to give children the opportunity to learn important social, cognitive and emotional skills.

The majority of us will be lucky enough to have had access to safe playing environments and made plenty of memories we now cherish. Help me make a positive impact to more children's childhoods!

Your donations can pay for:
£10 builds a toy giraffe for the children of the community to play with
£15 builds a motorbike out of tires, allowing kids to engage their creativity in roleplay scenarios
£20 funds safety equipment for a disadvantaged young adult, helping them to be safe as they start their meaningful employment with East African Playgrounds
£50 builds a table with space for board games such as checkers or snakes and ladders.

East African Playgrounds has previously worked all over the country, including in refugee centers. They use locally sourced materials and strive to have a far reaching impact.
One of the ways we hope to broaden our impact is by hosting afternoon activities and sports with the teachers and children. We try to help the children apply the knowledge they have learned in a fun and engaging way. All teachers East African Playgrounds have worked with report a lower rate of absenteeism in schools!

Please help me achieve my goal and reach my fundraising target, all donations are welcome and appreciated!

Thank you,
Weronika Weronika Letowska
