Sophie Gordon Hi, my name is Sophie and in August 2019 I will be going over to Uganda with the charity, East African Playgrounds, to take part in the ‘Gorilla Trek’. The trip will be 3 weeks long and will be split between finding the remaining Silverback Mountain Gorilla’s as well as living and working with a local community to build a playground for the local school. In order to achieve this I am hoping to raise £2,000, and I would be extremely grateful if you were able to help me bring the gift of play to the children of Uganda.

I would like for every single one of you to feel a part of this experience too, which is why I will be taking the names of every donator over to Uganda with me to display them on a board in the completed playground, not only as a thank you but also for recognition of the change that you have made.

In return for your donations I will taking on different challenges when specific targets are achieved. The challenges are listed below along with the target needed for the challenge to undergo:

• £100 = I will sit in an ice bath for two minutes.
• £250 = I will dye my hair pink.
• £500 = I will dye my hair blue.
• £1500 = I will shave off half an eyebrow.
• £2000 = I will get a tattoo of the East African Playgrounds charity logo.

Once these targets are achieved you will be able to see the results of the challenges via this page as well as all of my social media accounts. If anybody has any suggestions for things they would like to see me do in exchange for donations then I’d also be more than happy to take them on board!

Finally, I would just like to say a huge thank you for taking the time to read this page and I would be extremely grateful for any help you can give!
