This year I am TEAM LEADER for the FXU RAD GORILLA TREK, a 3 week project that not only aids in the conservation of wild SILVERBACK GORILLAS but also leaves the Ugandan community with the lasting mark of a PLAYGROUND to encourage local children to learn through play.

East African Playgrounds impacts a vast amount of people, such as disadvantaged young adults by providing them with jobs, and most notably children through the production of over 100 playgrounds, 10 of which are located in refugee camps. These playgrounds give some of the most vulnerable children in the world a safe place to build their physical and social skills by allowing them to explore, discover and develop through play!

How can your donation impact these children?

£25 could provide a small herd of toy animals for the children to play on

£100 could fund one-month educational play programme

£250 could give the children the best climbing frame they (or even you) have ever seen!

Along with the opportunity to change the lives of Uganda children, we will be trekking to see some of the last wild silverback gorillas (it is the Ugandan Gorilla Trek after all!), therefore a portion of the fundraising target will be going to the Ugandan Wildlife Authority to aid in the conservation of these wonderful creatures.

PLEASE help me make this Ugandan adventure a reality, by DONATING or SHARING this page!

Thank you!
