Samuel Marson When August 2018 comes around, I will be undertaking a once in a lifetime adventure. The trip will consist of two sections.

The first part of the trip will be a trek across part of Uganda to see the endangered Silverback Gorilla in the wild. £300 of your donations will go to the Ugandan Wildlife Society to help conserve the remaining Silverback population.

The second part of the trip will be the playground build. This part of the trip will be spent living with a local Ugandan community. The group of Loughborough University students I am travelling with will spend this time transforming an empty field into a playground for the local school, not only for children now but for years to come. We hope to have a lasting impact on the development of children in this community. Furthermore, East African Playgrounds employs disadvantaged young adults and former street children through an apprenticeship scheme, teaching welding, prefabrication and playground installation. £1100 of the donations will go directly to East African Playgrounds, funding the build itself. The final £600 of donations goes towards the cost of the project, paying for food, travel and accommodation for the three week trip.

I was fortunate enough to have a safe place to play, socialize and develop while growing up and I am going to Uganda to help provide this opportunity for those who need it most. None of this will be possible without your donations, so please give generously!

Much love,
Sam Samuel Marson
