I'm a student of University of Manchester that will go to Uganda next summer to spend my time there to build a playground. The children in Uganda especially the one who live in refugees camp does not have a safe area to play and I feel the urge to help these children as it is their right to play. Play is very important for their mental and health development and that is why convention on The Rights of The Child was approved by UN in 1989 and it is stated in Article 31 :

“That every child has the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.

That member governments shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall encourage the provision of appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural, artistic, recreational and leisure activity.”

All the funds collected will be used to buy the equipment needed, to pay the playground designer, workers and etc. As I am going to volunteer on summer so I really hope that I can fund raise up to 800 GBP by May 2018. Every donations is like you're helping the children there to have a better future.

To actually step my feet at Uganda and be a volunteer are always like a dream comes true. I have waited for many years to actually experience this kind of opportunity. All the support given is highly appreciated.
