Lydia Farmer East African Playgrounds is a UK registered charity and international NGO, focused on East Africa, primarily Uganda.
They believe that all children deserve to have a safe, fun and exciting place to play, so they can access all the benefits that play has to offer for their learning, development and wellbeing.

In August I will be volunteering in a school in Uganda to help build them a safe, fun new playground!
Also, my team will be taking part in a Creative Play Programme with the children, helping them to develop physical, cognitive and social skills. The United Nations recently listed play as a human right for all children, showing just how valuable play is during childhood.

The money that I fundraise will help the EAP charity massively!
£25 could provide a small herd of toy animals for the children to play on
£100 could fund one-month educational play programme
£250 could give the children the best climbing frame they (or you) have ever seen

48.1% of Uganda’s population are under the age of 15.
The harsh realities of their lives don’t allow them to play. Help give these children their childhoods back! Lydia Farmer
