Jessica Green Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. My name is Jessica Green, I am an 18 year old student from Lowestoft currently studying Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire. I am excited to share this project with you. Knowing how much travelling has helped over the last year and seeing the work this amazing charity does after arriving at Uni, I knew it was something that immediately appealed to me.

All children deserve the right to play and access education, however some children are less fortunate than others. In July 2018 I'll be flying out to Africa to spend over 4 weeks sleeping on a mattress on the floor in a Ugandan primary school helping to build a new playground out of recycled material and help the kids develop. Every weekday morning will be helping to build and the afternoons will include helping with educational sessions, playing games and using my football coaching qualifications to fully engage in my time during this once in a lifetime experience.

This should be a very humbling and unique experience to explore more of what the world has to offer to prove there is more to life than how you feel in any given moment when being used to normal everyday routine.

To name a few of my fundraising efforts so far, preparing for the 10 mile Tough Mudder in July with my workmates at Nuffield Health, multiple cake sales, sponsored give up sweets, chocolate (and alcohol if my fundraising page gets to £500 before the end of lent!), organising a letter and drawing exchange with my past school, street collections and many more.

Any support in making this happen would be so gratefully appreciated. Thank you. Jessica Green
