Matthew Beville-Anderson I look back to my childhood, and I remember the unforgettable, amazing times I had playing in the playgrounds and parks with my friends. I am then saddened to realise, that there are children in the world which go without this experience at all. This is what I aim to rectify; to give gift of a childhood to the children of Uganda.
I've signed up to the Uganda Volunteer Project with the charity, East African Playgrounds to raise £1000 to help bring the gift of play to the children of Uganda. In doing so, I will be working within a local primary school to help build a playground and help develop the interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills of the children who live there.

For me, a playground is a classroom in disguise, children don't know they are learning, they don't feel like they are learning, but really they are taking in the whole world whilst playing with their friends.

I want to give this gift to the children of Uganda, and you can help by donating as much or little as you can.
