Georgia Freeman In June 2018, I am heading to Uganda with the charity East African Playgrounds to participate in the Gorilla Trek and to help build a playground for a rural school, giving local children the opportunity to play, socialise and have the childhood they deserve.

The Gorilla Trek consists of a 5 day trek across Uganda, where I hope to witness silverback gorillas in their natural habitat. The other 2 weeks are spent volunteering as part of a team to help build one of the many playgrounds that East African Playgrounds are constructing for communities across Uganda.

I need to raise £2000, every penny of which will go towards a non-profit organisation which helps to develop East Africa:
• £300 will go towards the Ugandan Wildlife Authority to help the conservation of the gorillas I will be observing on the trek.
• £600 will go on the project costs of food, accommodation and travel, the majority of which will go to the non-profit trek company, the Home of Edirisa, who support the communities we will trek through.
• £1,100 will go direct to East African Playgrounds to fund their incredible work across Uganda.

Just £10 builds a toy giraffe for the children of a community to play with and £20 funds safety equipment for a disadvantaged young adult, helping them to be safe as they start their meaningful employment with East African Playgrounds.

Every child deserves the chance to play so please help me make this a reality and donate what you can. Every donation will make a difference.

Thank you very much!
