Cheyenne Smith I’m fundraising because I have always wanted to help people. Since I was young, I have wanted to help and inspire people to reach great destinations and overcome obstacles. Back in 2008, my mother volunteered in South Africa to build houses for orphans suffering with HIV; this really inspired me to help and inspire people more. I have had experience of working with children through a placement in a nursery and Action tutoring; in which I tutor year six children prior to their SATS this summer. I love to see children smile, learn and develop; whether that is developing their gross motor skills, fine motor skills or developing their knowledge. I study a sociology degree at University of the West of England, Bristol. One of our modules is called comparing cultures. I’ve always been interested in different cultures. In fact, my boyfriend is Ugandan and I’ve learnt parts of the Ugandan culture (at least off of his viewpoint, traditions and experiences. Cheyenne Smith
