Asher Flanagan I am taking part in a trip to Uganda, where I will help design and build a playground for children that will encompass the essence of their community and play culture. I will work with East African Playgrounds, a charity who believe that every child should have a safe place where they can play, have fun and forget about the stresses of life. I am hoping to raise £1100, all of which will be donated to the East African Playground to support their work, and I will fund my own travel costs.

I will be going on a trek in Uganda, to find the last remaining Silverback Mountain Gorilla's as well as living and working within a local community to build a playgrounds for a school.

A playground is a classroom in disguise, children don't know they are learning, they don't feel like they are learning, but really they are taking in the whole world whilst playing with their friends.

I think this is a wonderful cause and am very grateful to have this opportunity, so please help by donating towards my fundraising! Asher Flanagan
