Kate Mason Hey everyone,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYNsYktMkQY

I've signed up to the Gorilla Trek with the charity, East African Playgrounds to raise £2,000. As well as living and working within the a local community to build a playground for the school, I will be doing a trek to find the last remaining Silverback Mountain Gorilla's!!! David Attenborough moment (eek). Can you please help by donating towards my fundraising. I will be going from the 30th August to the 19th September 2019, with the possibility of extending to the 22nd September.

Cost - £2,000 (minimum) which will cover the following: -
• Project costs (£600) – This covers most of your food, accommodation, transport and activities whilst in Uganda with East African Playgrounds as well as your support you receive in the UK and Uganda.
• Gorilla Permit (£300) - To see the Gorilla's you must have a permit as there is limited spaces, £200 will already be put down as a deposit and so this confirms your permit and goes towards protecting the Gorillas and their wild habitat.
• Donation to East African Playgrounds (£1,100) - Supporting East African Playgrounds to improve the lives of the people of Uganda by provide playgrounds, running educational play programmes as well as our vocational programme.

Additional Costs:
• Flights (approximately £500-£800) - but through our partners you can pay a £61 deposit, giving you the whole academic year to save up or fundraise this cost
• Vaccinations (£0-£120) depending on previous travel
• Visa (£35)
• Personal Travel insurance (£40-70)
• Optional additional activities - all of which can be decided on the day
