We recommend that our volunteers and fundraisers use ‘JustGiving‘ as a tool for raising money.
‘JustGiving exists to help you raise more money than you ever thought possible for the causes you care about.’
JustGiving is a quick and easy way to donate money straight to East African Playgrounds. It allows you to set up your own page where your friends and family can make one-off donations to EAP, or even set up monthly donations. What’s great about setting up a JustGiving page is that you can personalise it to your liking. You can write a little message telling everyone what you’re doing and why you want them to donate, put a photo up and even change the colour of the page!
How it works:
- Start by making your own page by clicking here.
- Tell EVERYONE about your page.
- When your friends decide to donate, they can click the donate button on your webpage, which will take them through the simple steps of donating.
- If the donor is a UK tax payer then they can ‘Gift Aid’ their donation and EAP will receive an extra 20% on top of your donation.
- Once the payment is completed EAP will automatically be sent the donate by the end of the working week, and can claim the Gift Aid at the end of each month.
