EAP was founded in 2008, and since then we have strived to develop relationships with schools, charities and orphanages within East Africa to provide local communities with their own playgrounds.
We take teams of volunteers from the UK on six week long projects to build playgrounds. So far we’ve had successful build in Tanzania and Uganda, in which a multitude of children have benefitted (and continue to benefit) from a place to play, have fun and develop. We’re currently looking into possibilities for builds in 2010 in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. If you are interested in being a part of an EAP team in 2010, please contact us as soon as possible.
