East African Playgrounds has a simple but effective structure.
We develop relationships with East African charities and schools, based in the UK or in East Africa. EAP then visits potential sites and assesses the suitability and plausibility of a playground build.
We recruit teams of volunteers in the UK to travel to East Africa to help build the playgrounds. These teams are responsible for fundraising for the playground they will build.
We supply all of the relevant training, preparation and fundraising assistance for all volunteers prior to the project.
We then take our teams out to East Africa to work and live onsite for 6 weeks, until the playground is completed. Et voila! Another playground!
